The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is scheduled to release its list of candidates for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections on Wednesday, March 18. The party is also likely to announce candidates from its allied parties on the same day.
The list of candidates will be made public after a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Board, which is slated to take place at 4 PM on March 18.
The BJP is expected to unveil candidates for all 126 Assembly constituencies in the state. Ahead of the announcement, the party’s parliamentary committee will hold a meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday afternoon, where the central leadership will give the final approval to the candidates.
