The Assam government has issued a series of transfer and posting orders involving several senior officials of the Department of School Education.
According to the official notification, Titu Gogoi, Deputy Director in the Office of the Director of Elementary Education, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director in the Office of the Director of Higher Education, Assam.
Bijoy Baisnab, who was serving as Inspector of Schools and District Elementary Education Officer (DEEO) in Chirang, has been transferred as the District Elementary Education Officer of Dhubri.
Similarly, Kabita Deka, DEEO and Inspector of Schools in Dhemaji, has been transferred to Dibrugarh as Inspector of Schools. She will also hold the additional charge of DEEO of Dibrugarh, replacing Dr. Samiran Bora.
In another transfer, Dipika Choudhury, Inspector of Schools and DEEO of Kamrup (Metro), has been posted as Deputy Director in the Office of the Director of Secondary Education, Assam.
Ratul Das, Inspector of Schools and DEEO of Darrang, has been transferred as Inspector of Schools in Nalbari and will hold the additional charge of DEEO of Nalbari, replacing Jayanta Thakuria.
Meanwhile, Jayanta Thakuria has been transferred as District Elementary Education Officer of Darrang and will also serve as Inspector of Schools for the district.
In Karbi Anglong, Biren Sing Engti, who was serving as Inspector of Schools, has been posted as the District Elementary Education Officer of West Karbi Anglong.
Prabhat Das, Inspector of Schools and DEEO of Sonitpur, has been transferred as Deputy Director in the Office of the Director of Elementary Education, Assam.
The government has also transferred Simanta Das, DEEO of Nalbari, to Bajali as District Elementary Education Officer.
Further, Dr. Samiran Bora, who was serving as Inspector of Schools and DEEO of Dibrugarh, has been transferred as Inspector of Schools of Sivasagar with additional charge as DEEO of the district, replacing Debajyoti Gogoi.
Following this, Debajyoti Gogoi has been posted as Inspector of Schools in Dhemaji and will hold additional charge as DEEO of the district, replacing Kabita Deka.
In another order, Normada Chetia, Deputy Director in the Office of the Director of Secondary Education, has been attached to the Office of the Director of Non-Formal and Adult Education, Assam.
The notification also directed all the officers concerned to join their new postings with immediate effect.
